Dr. B.C. Kar Memorial International Conference & CME on Sickle Cell Disease was held on 12th & 13th March 2011 at V.S.S. Medical College, Burla

International Sickle cell expert Dr.Graham Sergent who is regarded as father of sickle cell disease & Dr.Adrian Stephens attended and shared their knowledge amongst the participants of the conference 352 delegates (Doctors from odisha & outside) participated in this conference 24 nos of speakers of national levels from different parts of the country  those having remarkable contribution in the field of Sickle Cell shared their knowledge.On 11th march Dr. Dr.Graham Sergent interacted with the student and faculty members of VSS Medical College ,Burla and answered their questions and clarified their doubts about Sickle Cell disease

Second International CME
We conducted a one day International CME on Sickle Cell Disease on 12.11.2012 at I.G auditorium at V.S.S. Medical College,Burla with Prof. Graham Serjeant .
